Local Teen is Tumor and Seizure Free

Madison Blackmon was a healthy and active 14-year-old girl. She earned straight A’s in school and played three sports before she started feeling strange. Madison describes feeling what she believed were anxiety attacks and extreme exhaustion. When she started losing focus during conversations, apparently drifting off, her parents realized it was time to see the doctor and she was diagnosed with epilepsy. Second Opinion Gives Baby Second Chance

Ingrid Moya offers a powerful message to mothers everywhere, when it comes to your baby’s health, trust your maternal instincts. This mother of four’s intuition brought her to the Florida Epilepsy Center for a second opinion and she found a second chance for her baby to lead a seizure free life. Supporting Adults and Children With Epilepsy

Florida Epilepsy Center is proud to have participated in 2015’s Central Florida Epilepsy Walk on Saturday May 9th. This annual 5k is hosted by the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida (EACF) and took place at Cypress Grove Park. This event has no registration fee to walk and all donations support the EACF's mission to help adults and children with epilepsy to improve their quality of life.
