Bio

Medical Director of the Comprehensive Pediatric Epilepsy Center at Florida Hospital for Children.

Ki Hyeong Lee, MD, MS, is a board-certified neurologist and epileptologist with more than 20 years experience in epilepsy diagnosis and management, epilepsy surgery and advanced diagnostic techniques for surgery for intractable epilepsy patients. He is currently the Medical Director of the Comprehensive Pediatric Epilepsy Center at Florida Hospital for Children. With advanced fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy research, he has published more than a dozen research papers and a book chapter, and has presented at the national and international level. Dr. Lee leads the multidisciplinary pediatric epilepsy team to help young patients address and forever alter their epilepsy-related health problems.

Education and Experience

Dr. Lee is a graduate of Seoul National University, College of Medicine Graduate School in Seoul, South Korea. He completed a medical internship at Seoul National University Hospital in Seoul, Korea and a pediatrics internship at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Lee completed a residency in Adult Neurology at the Seoul National University Hospital in Seoul, Korea and a residency in Pediatric Neurology at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. He went on to complete three fellowships, the first in Clinical Neurophysiology at the Medical College of Georgia, the second in Epilepsy Research at the Mayo Foundation in Minneapolis and the third in Stroke at Seoul National University Hospital in Seoul.
