Elakkat D. Gireesh, MD

Elakkat Gireesh, MD, is a board-certified neurologist with advanced fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy. His specialties include seizure localization, transcranial neurostimulation, and the use of intracranial EEG monitoring, Neuropace therapy and ketogenic diets for epilepsy control.

Ki Hyeong Lee, MD, MS

Board-Certified Neurologist and Epileptologist

Ki Hyeong Lee, MD, MS, is a board-certified neurologist and epileptologist with more than 20 years experience in epilepsy diagnosis and management, epilepsy surgery and advanced diagnostic techniques for surgery for intractable epilepsy patients.

Joo Hee Seo, MD, MSc

Dr. Seo is a fellowship-trained epileptologist. She earned her medical degree from Yonsei University School of Medicine in Korea. She went on to complete her first residency in pediatrics and her first fellowship in pediatric Neurology at Severance Children’s Hospital/Yonsei University. Dr. Seo completed her second residency in pediatrics at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Women in Orlando, FL. She went on to complete her second fellowship in epilepsy at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

Holly J. Skinner, DO

Holly J. Skinner, DO is a board certified neurologist who specializes in epilepsy syndromes in adults, sleep medicine, neurophysiology and clinical neurology. She joins the Florida Epilepsy Center after completing a sleep medicine fellowship at the University of Florida. There she also completed a Neurophysiology fellowship. Dr. Skinner's post-graduate work experience includes inpatient treatment and care at Florida Hospital East Orlando as a part of the Tri-County Neurology Group.

Christina Wombles, ARNP

Christina Wombles, ARNP is a certified acute care nurse practitioner with over 10 years of clinical experience. Christine received the President’s Award for having the highest academic achievement in nursing and was Sigma Theta Tau-eligible for academic achievement in her master’s program. Her hands-on experience and expertise guarantees that you will receive world-class care at every visit.
